Job summary

Pulse Nursing at Home in Reading is seeking a compassionate Female Healthcare Assistant Support Worker to join our team. You will support a paediatric female client at home and school, delivering person-centred care and assisting with daily living activities.

You’ll provide personal care, administer medications, and work with clinical interventions with full training provided. The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and school-term shifts.

Qualifications

• 6 months care experience within the last 2 years (UK based experience).
• Experience supporting individuals with complex care needs including brain injuries, spinal injuries, physical disabilities, genetic and neurological conditions.
• Caring, empathetic, and patient nature.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical and emotional support to service users.

Location: Fleet

Shifts: Thursday & Friday (School Support) - 8:30am - 3:30pm

Tuesday & Sunday Nights - 9:30am - 7pm

The Role

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting with their daily activities, promoting independence, and enhancing their quality of life. You will work closely with our client, their families, and other professionals to deliver person-centered care and support.

In this role you will be supporting our paediatric female client in both her home and school, who is living with several complex care needs. On shift you will be providing personal care, administering medications and managing our clients clinical interventions (full training will be provided).
