Job summary

Lupa Collective Ltd is inviting applications for Temporary Support Workers to assist children and young people with caring, energetic and dedicated support. You will help young people reach their full potential and thrive through engaging, meaningful activities and a child-centred approach.

You will work with families and professionals to achieve the best outcomes, respond calmly to challenges, and promote a safe, nurturing environment while building lasting relationships with the young people

Qualifications

  • Experience in children's social care, coaching, education or a similar role
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to work with young people in varied settings

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people
  • Encourage independence, confidence and emotional wellbeing
  • Plan and participate in engaging activities

The Role

We're Looking For Someone Who Has:
  • Creative thinking and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities
  • A compassionate, caring and approachable nature
  • Previous experience in children's social care, coaching, education or a similar role
  • A full UK driving licence
  • A Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce (CYP) (desirable)
  • A genuine passion for creating fun, engaging and memorable experiences for young people
  • Resilience, empathy and the ability to develop positive, trusting relationships
