Job summary

Paragon Social Care is seeking compassionate Children's Support Workers to help care for young people in local authority settings. You will provide trauma-informed care, build trusting relationships, and support education, life skills, and independence.

The role requires a driving licence, flexibility for nights and weekends, and a clear Enhanced DBS. A relevant NVQ Level 3 in Children’s Residential Care is desirable, with safeguarding training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people (paid or voluntary).
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own car.
• Patience, empathy, and emotional resilience.
• Flexibility to work waking nights, weekends, and sleep-ins.
• A clear enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).

• £17.50ph - £24.00ph PAYE Rate (including holiday pay)
