Job description

£14.50 per hour on weekdays and £16.00 gross per hour on weekends.

About The Role

Note: Our clients do not offer sponsorship.

Location: Tetbury, GL8

Days & Hours: Up to 8 hours a week, flexibly including weekends. Hours planned in advance by Dean and his mother. Additional hours may be available during school holidays and for covering absences.

Pay: Weekdays £14.50/hour, Weekends £16.00/hour

Driver required? Yes, essential

Using Own Vehicle for work purposes? Yes, on duty and for training, with business insurance and mileage paid

Essential Experience: Supporting young adults to become more independent

Desirable: Experience with young adults with trauma and an interest in therapy

Pets: Two rescue dogs in the family home

Accommodation (while on duty): Mobile home

Interviews: Rolling basis, face-to-face. Apply promptly.

Start Date: ASAP, subject to checks

About Dean

Dean, born in 1999, enjoys woodwork, stunt scootering, socialising at the skate park, live music, outdoor activities, and beach holidays. He has a hypoxic brain injury, is hearing impaired, wears hearing aids, and can lip read.

Your Role

Provide 1:1 support, promote independence, source new activities, and support current interests like skateboarding, surfing, swimming, and woodwork. Offer companionship and assist with daily activities.
