The role includes assisting with personal care, medication, meals, daily living activities, and varied communication methods (including Makaton) to support his daily life and community engagement.

You will support one young man in his own home. He has learning disabilities and autism and can display behaviours of distress, so he thrives with consistent, positive and understanding support from people who are patient, calm and dependable.

Each day will be different, but you will be supporting with:
Long Day Sleep-In Shifts: 9am – 9am the following day (Weekdays & Weekends - Includes Sleep-In Shift)
Sleep-In Shift: 11pm-7am (£50 per shift)
On call / Stand by: 24 hour period (£25 per shift responsibility)
Flexibility to work a combination of shifts during the week and at weekends is required.
Rotas are provided 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work life balance.
