Dimensions (UK) Ltd. in King's Lynn is seeking a caring, reliable individual to support people to live independently. You will assist with daily activities, help with meals and shopping, accompany to appointments, and provide personal care with safe manual handling after training.
You’ll join a supportive team with flexible shifts including early, late, sleep-ins and weekends. The role offers training, career progression and a genuine chance to make a real difference in people’s wellbeing.
This is a varied role where you'll get to know each person's interests, routines and goals. You might be supporting someone to enjoy a trip to a local café, helping with shopping, accompanying them to appointments, assisting with meal preparation, providing medication support, or offering help with personal care when requested. Some individuals use wheelchairs and hoisting equipment, and you'll receive full training to support them safely and confidently.
The people we support enjoy simple things that make a big difference to their wellbeing, from gardening, watching films and spending time with pets, to enjoying days out, theatre trips and having someone to chat with over a coffee. You'll work both as part of a team and independently, including some lone working, and must be able to work a flexible rota covering early shifts, late shifts, sleep-ins and weekends. As this role involves supporting people both independently and as part of a wider team, you'll need to be confident, adaptable and able to use your initiative. You'll also be comfortable supporting with personal care when required, using manual handling equipment following training, and working a flexible rota that includes sleep-ins, evenings and weekends.
