Job summary

Orbis Education and Care is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for Cartref Mynydd in Swansea. You will provide personalised support to adults with autism, helping them live active, valued lives with a focus on independence and safety.

We welcome applicants with or without previous care experience and offer comprehensive training and a pathway to progression. A full UK driving license is essential, with a competitive hourly rate and location allowance.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Support Worker, the people we support are at the heart of everything we do. You’ll work closely with each individual, getting to know their needs, goals, and preferences, so you can provide truly personalised support—helping them live active, fulfilling, and valued lives every day.

• Ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met through a supportive and caring environment.
• Providing support during recreational activities, outings and community integration – this includes swimming, cycling, rugby/football, rock climbing, surfing and running.
• Promoting independence, self-esteem, confidence and celebrating their achievements and milestones.
• Keeping accurate records of all activities, progress, and incidents should they arise.

We’re looking for someone with heart, drive and a true commitment to supporting others.
