Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a dedicated Support Worker in Stafford. You will provide person-centred support to adults to enhance independence, learning daily living skills and encouraging community participation.

The role involves varied shifts, including early, late, long days, nights and sleep-ins, with opportunities to develop through training and team collaboration. We are looking for compassionate, resilient individuals who can follow Positive Behaviour Support plans and work with people with

Qualifications

• Experience in providing person-centered support is preferred.
• Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support plans is beneficial.
• Experience working with individuals with autism, learning disabilities and challenging behaviours is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Help people to gain more independence in daily life.
• Teach life skills and support personal care for service users.
• Encourage access to local communities and social activities.
• Assist with household tasks and accompanying outings such as shopping or cinema.
• Support with daily routines and enabling goal progression.

Job description

Support Worker – Stafford- £12.72 per hour (35 - 42 hours per week)

Drivers preferred

Typical Shifts are:

• Early Shifts: 7am-2pm,
• Late Shifts: 2pm-9pm,
• Long Days: 7am-9pm,
• Night Shifts: 9pm-7am
• Sleep-ins: 9pm - 7am
