Support Worker

Location: South Shields

Full-time: 39 hours per week

Salary: £12.21 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team and provide support within our respite service in South Shields.

The Role

At Bisley Drive, we support guests within a 7-bedroom respite short break service for adults with learning disabilities.

We are looking for individuals experienced in delivering support. Support provided includes:

• Tending to all aspects of daily living, including personal care
• Domestic household support
• Support with budgeting and finances
• Social support
• Family support
• Medication support
• Liaison with health and social care professionals
• In-house and out-of-house activities
• Staff ratios vary based on guest needs

An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
