Job summary

Kisimul Group is hiring a Support Worker to assist young adults with complex needs at Tigh Coilean in South Hykeham. The role focuses on safeguarding, practical care tasks, and encouraging independence within a loving, supportive home environment.

You will work as part of a dedicated team to deliver personalised care, participate in recreational activities in the home and community, and ensure accurate recording of each individual's needs and progress.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard young adults with the staff team at all times.
• Participate in a wide range of recreational events held within the home and wider community.
• Assist with practical tasks relating to care, e.g., cooking and cleaning.
• Create positive relationships with the young adults while maintaining dignity and respect.
• Meet the physical, emotional, behavioural and cultural needs of the young adults.
• Maintain accurate and clear record keeping.
• Review changes to needs and update records accordingly.
• Actively contribute to team development.

Due to our continued organisational growth and development opportunities for our current staff, we are recruiting for Support Workers to join our staff team at out home Tigh Coilean, in South Hykeham.

About the position:

As a Support Worker, you will be key in supporting young adults with complex needs. We are looking for a dedicated and ambitious individual Support Workers who can offer complete commitment to supporting our young adults to fulfil their potential. This is a challenging role as a Support Worker but with huge rewards.

What will you be doing:

• Working with the staff team across all levels to safeguard our young adults at all times.
• Participating in a wide range of innovative and exciting recreational events held within the home and wider community.
• Assisting with practical tasks relating to care. For example, cooking and cleaning.
• Creating positive relationships with the young adults, maintaining dignity and respect at all times.
• Meeting the physical, emotional, behavioural and cultural needs of the young adults.
• Continually maintaining accurate and clear record keeping.
• Ensuring that the needs of the young adults are being met and regularly reviewing and recording any changes to their needs.
• Actively contributing to the development of the team.
