Penderels Trust is seeking a compassionate, energetic part‑time Support Worker to assist a non‑verbal child with ASD, SPD, ADHD and PICA in Shipton‑on‑Stour. You will provide personal care, meal support, and engaging activities in a safe, supportive one‑to‑one setting.
The role requires patience, reliability, and a positive attitude. DBS disclosure will be arranged, and the employer participates in Disability Confident schemes.
We are the parents of a wonderful young boy who loves messy play, running around, and music. He is a happy, enthusiastic child who embraces life despite the challenges he faces.
We are looking for a caring, energetic, and reliable person to support him on a weekly basis. Our son is non‑verbal and has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), ADHD, and PICA. Experience with additional needs is desirable, but a positive attitude, patience, and willingness to learn are equally important.
We need someone with plenty of energy, dedication, and a genuine passion for helping children thrive. The role will involve supporting him in activities he enjoys, encouraging his development, and helping him live life to the fullest in a safe, engaging, and fun way.
If you are compassionate, proactive, and committed to making a positive difference in a child's life, we would love to hear from you.
