As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!
Our nursing service in Sheffield is a welcoming and friendly environment. You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in the local community enjoying days out, the next you could be unwinding within service of an evening offering person-centred support during the night.
This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.
We’re interested in our Support Workers having both the right values. This is why at this service our Support Workers should be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, along with the willingness to support individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviour's of distress, mental health conditions, autism, and people who may have experienced trauma.
