Job Title: Support Worker

Location:Various locations to include Hull, Doncaster & Scunthorpe.

Salary:Starting from £13.93 per hour + Holiday Pay

Role Overview:As a Learning Disabilities Support Worker, you will provide vital care and support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver tailored care plans, helping service users manage their mental health and achieve their personal goals. Your role will be pivotal in promoting independence, dignity, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to individuals with mental health conditions, both in residential settings and within the community.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Build trusting relationships with clients, offering emotional support and encouragement.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Monitor and document client progress, reporting any concerns to senior staff or healthcare professionals.
  • Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all clients.

About You

  • A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle is essential.
  • Previous experience in a Mental Health Support Worker role for at least 6 months.
  • Previous experience with supporting learning disabilities, autism and PDA is essential.
  • Relevant qualifications in Health and Social Care or Mental Health (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3) are an advantage.
