As a Healthcare Support Worker at our Leeds hospital, you’ll show us you’re able to meet deadlines and follow instructions. You have a good telephone manner, and great computer and database skills. And if you’re qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, with relevant experience in an acute hospital or care setting, that’s even better. You will need a flexible approach to both duties and hours as flexibility is key to this role. Shifts may include evenings and weekend work. Please note that phlebotomy skills are a must.

As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will:

• In this busy role you’ll support the team in our Pre Assessments providing care for patients undergoing major and minor surgeries.
• You must be a motivated person who enjoys a fast pace, be able to demonstrate good communication skills (both written and verbal)

In addition we offer a comprehensive diagnostic service including cardiology tests and interventions, diagnostic imaging – MR, CT, Mammography, Plain film and Ultrasound, fully equipped Physiotherapy department with gymnasium facilities.
