Job summary

Active Care Group in Ruthin outskirts is seeking a caring Support Worker to assist a sociable client with muscular dystrophy, at home and in the community.

The role is a flexible zero-hours contract with 2 day shifts per week, 8am to 6pm, and potential extra shifts. You’ll join a stable care team with ongoing rotas, training, and a pension scheme.

Qualifications

  • Has hands-on care experience and understands being there when it matters.
  • NVQ Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care.
  • Gentle, patient, with clear, compassionate communication.

Responsibilities

Support Worker – Based in the outskirts of Ruthin in the village of Cyffyliog (Driver Essential)About the Role:We're on the lookout for a caring, down-to-earth Support Worker to assist a sociable and independent client with muscular dystrophy — both at home and out in the community.In this role, you’ll support one individual with complex needs, working regular weekly shifts to build a consistent, trusted care team.
