Job summary

Active Care Group is seeking compassionate support workers to provide ad-hoc cover across North Wales. You will assist clients with personal care, medications and mobility, with shifts on day and night. A full driving licence is required and training is provided.

This bank/zero-hours role offers flexibility to fit around other commitments, with a pension and progression opportunities through our learning hub.

Are you a compassionate and reliable support worker with a full driving licence, looking for a flexible bank role? Join Active Care Group, a leading provider of specialist care, and support our North Wales teams by providing essential cover during staff sickness and annual leave. This role is ideal for those seeking ad-hoc or flexible work, alongside other commitments. This is not a domiciliary care role. You will be part of a specialist team delivering one-to-one support to clients with complex needs, including spinal injuries, brain injuries, epilepsy, neurological conditions, and learning disabilities.

When you'll work:

• Day and night shifts available
• Bank shifts offered as required to cover sickness and annual leave across our North Wales packages
• Flexible scheduling based on service need and your availability

What you'll be doing:

• Personal care
• Medication administration
• Moving and handling
• Managing clinical equipment
• Shopping
• Providing short-term and ongoing cover within existing care packages, and supporting new packages when needed
