Job summary

Real Life Options Group is seeking a dedicated Support Worker in the Brotton/Saltburn area to empower adults with learning disabilities to live as independently as possible in a supported living setting. You’ll work with a friendly team to plan meals, maintain homes, assist with personal care, and update support plans.

We offer full, accredited training, DBS checks, and a range of benefits. Flexible shifts include days, evenings, weekends, and occasional sleepovers to meet service needs.

Qualifications

• Six or more of the listed qualities are desirable for this role.
• Full, accredited training will be provided if you don’t have prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to live as independently as possible in a supported living environment.
• Plan and assist with meals, keep living spaces clean and comfortable.
• Assist with personal care and medication where needed (as directed).
• Update support plans and risk assessments as required.
• Engage with the local community and facilitate social activities and hobbies.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you'll empower individuals to live as independently as possible, supporting them with everyday activities such as:

• Planning and preparing meals
• Keeping their home clean and comfortable
• Managing personal care and medication (where needed)
• Updating support plans and risk assessments
• Getting out and about in the local community, enjoying social activities and hobbies

You’ll work alongside a passionate, supportive team and enjoy the satisfaction that comes from making a meaningful difference in someone's life - every single day.

Shift Details

This service offers 24-hour support, so flexibility is essential. Shifts may include:

• Days
• Evenings
• Weekends
• Occasional sleepovers (as required by the service)
