Job description

Be part of an exciting new chapter with Liaise

At Liaise, our values of Positive, Progressive, and Personal shape everything we do. As a well-established provider that continues to grow, we're delighted to be expanding with a brand-new clustered service consisting of four individual bungalows, providing bespoke support for four people with Learning Disabilities and Autism.

The service is already taking shape, with three individuals successfully settled into their new homes. We're now preparing to welcome the final person, carefully ensuring the right environment for everyone to thrive.

Please note:

Due to the assessed needs of the people we support within this service, this role is open to male applicants only. This is an Occupational Requirement in accordance with Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

In recognition of the increasing demand for specialist support across the region, we're proud to offer enhanced salaries, reflecting the experience, dedication and expertise of our Support Workers.

This is a unique opportunity to join a developing service where you'll help create a warm, person-centred environment from the ground up while making a genuine difference every day.

Why choose Liaise?

We believe that exceptional support starts with exceptional people, which is why we're committed to investing in our colleagues.

One of the things that sets us apart is our dedicated internal Positive Behaviour Practitioner team. They work directly alongside our frontline colleagues within our services, providing practical coaching, specialist guidance and ongoing support to help our teams deliver the very best outcomes for the people we support.

Alongside this, you'll have access to an extensive learning and development programme, including bespoke training tailored to the people living in your service, as well as specialist courses including:

  • Trauma-Informed Support
  • Learning Disabilities
  • Mental Health Awareness
  • The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism
  • Safeguarding and other essential care qualifications

We're passionate about developing our people. Whether you're looking to deepen your knowledge, step into a leadership role or build a long-term career in social care, we'll support your ambitions. We recognise individual strengths, celebrate success and, wherever possible, promote from within so our colleagues can continue to grow with Liaise.

Your role

As a Support Worker, you'll empower people to live the lives they choose by:

  • Supporting individuals with everyday routines and helping them achieve their personal goals.
  • Encouraging independence while supporting people to enjoy hobbies, interests, family time and activities within their local community.
  • Promoting dignity, choice, respect and positive outcomes every day.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation to ensure high-quality, person-centred support.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to provide consistent, outstanding care.
About You

We're looking for someone with previous experience in a care or support setting who is passionate about making a positive difference in people's lives.

You’ll also bring:

  • A caring, positive and proactive approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A sound understanding of safeguarding and your responsibilities in protecting vulnerable adults.
  • Confidence in making informed decisions and solving problems.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of health and safety.
  • A willingness to learn, develop and contribute as part of a supportive team.
What You’ll Receive

In return for your commitment, we’ll provide:

  • Enhanced, competitive pay rates.
  • Length of Service Leave - up to five additional days' annual leave.
  • Fully funded Blue Light Card.
  • Access to Stream, our financial wellbeing app, allowing you to access earned pay, save money and receive supermarket discounts.
  • Employee Assistance Programme providing confidential counselling and legal advice.
  • Comprehensive induction, specialist training and ongoing professional development.
  • Coaching and support from our dedicated Positive Behaviour Practitioner team.
  • Clear opportunities for career progression across our growing organisation.
  • NEST Pension Scheme.
  • Free enhanced DBS check.
  • Life Assurance (2 x annual salary).
Grow your career with us

Liaise is continuing to grow, creating exciting opportunities for people who want to build a rewarding career in social care.

If you’re looking for an employer that values your contribution, invests in your development, celebrates your achievements and believes in promoting talent from within, we’d love to welcome you to our team.

Liaise is an equal opportunities employer. We welcome applications from all backgrounds and are happy to discuss any reasonable adjustments throughout the recruitment process. Please note this role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
