Job summary

Active Prospects in Peacehaven seeks a dedicated Support Worker to assist Adams at his home and help him build a life in the community. You will work within a multidisciplinary approach to wellbeing, using positive behaviour support and empathetic, patient care.

The role emphasizes resilience and compassion; training is provided, with an induction that equips you for the first weeks of employment and ongoing support for progression within the service.

Job Role: Support Worker

Location: Peacehaven, Sussex

Salary: £15.97

Service Type: Supported Living, one Property housing one individual

Speciality: Learning Disability, Mental health and Autism. (has behaviour of concern, complex care, self harm and forensic support.

We are looking for Support Workers for Adams home in Peacehaven to support him to build his life in the community.

You will need to have a passion for empowering people to lead an aspiring life, by using positive behaviour support and work within an integrated and multidisciplinary approach to people's wellbeing.

You will be kind, patient, resilient, compassionate, proactive, the role can be tough, but the rewards outweigh. Adam has been discriminated against, faced trauma, and requires staff with empathy to support him on his road to recovery and an aspiring life.
