Job summary

SIS Care in Northwich is seeking a dedicated Support Worker on a full-time, permanent basis to assist adults with complex mental health needs to live more independently. You will deliver person-centred support, helping with daily tasks and activities while promoting autonomy and dignity.

DBS covered, NVQ training offered, and access to a pension scheme. Driving is a plus, and roles are based at Dane House with a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience within Mental Health is essential.
• Experience working in Supported Living environments preferred.
• Passionate about making a difference in clients' lives.
• Driving is preferable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred support to individuals with complex mental health needs.
• Assist with daily living activities to promote independence.
• Support engagement in community and group activities to improve quality of life.

The Support Worker role:

SIS are currently looking to recruit experienced individuals who have experience working within a supported living service. As part of this role, you would be supporting individuals with complex mental health needs as well as providing support within their daily lives. You will play a crucial role in enhancing their quality of life through person centred support.

What we are looking for in our Support Worker:

• People that are passionate about making a difference.
• Experience within Mental Health
• Experience working within a Supported living service.
• Driving is preferable but not essential.
• Level 2 NVQ is desirable but not essential.

About the service:

Dane house comprises of 14 self-contained flats over 2 floors. There is a communal lounge and kitchen for clients to interact and take part in group activities. The building has a communal garden for all to enjoy. Dane House is situated within walking distance of Northwich town centre.
