Job summary

CareTech's Greenfields Children's Service in Newtown, Powys is seeking a Residential Support Worker to provide care in a children’s residential setting. This full-time role includes a base salary plus sleep-in allowances and opportunities for development.

The role offers a competitive salary with sleep-ins, up to 28 days holiday, and development programmes (NVQ/QCF). A valid UK driving licence is required; sponsorship is not offered. Safeguarding checks apply.

Job description

Role: Residential Support Worker (Children's Residential Care, Full-Time)
Location: Newtown, Powys, SY15 (Residential Care Home)
Salary: £32,938.80 - £35,434.80 per year (includes base salary + estimated sleep-in allowances)
Base Salary: £27,268.80 (unqualified), £29,764.80 (qualified)
(Hourly rate: £13.11 - £14.31)
Plus £67.50 per sleep-in. Based on an average of 7 sleep-ins per month, you will top up your earnings by £5670 annually.
Full-Time permanent role. Consolidated shifts - great work/life balance | Sleep-ins included (6-8 a month)
A full manual UK driving licence is required and we are unable to offer sponsorship for this vacancy.
