Job summary

Voyage Care is hiring a Support Worker in South Leverton, Retford. The role is paid at £12.72 per hour, with typical shifts from 7am–2pm or 2pm–10pm, Monday to Sunday. You will help people gain independence, support daily living, and join a dynamic team in a residential setting.

Successful applicants will be caring, resilient, and able to follow Positive Behaviour Support plans. Driving licence is required, and the job offers enhanced benefits such as evening/weekend pay bonuses and access to

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving license
• Experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice
• Experience supporting individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories and trauma memories

Our residential service in South Leverton, is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local bars and pubs, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.

We’re interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Support Workers should hold a full UK driving license, be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice as well as experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviour's of distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories and people who have experienced trauma.
