Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in the Milford on Sea area is hiring a dedicated Support Worker for a leading Hampshire nursing home. You will join a warm, homely setting with personalised care plans and high standards of care, delivering support to residents.

The role requires NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent. You will work 36 hours weekly, on a permanent full-time basis, with shifts and a salary of £12.80–£13.45 per hour and monthly pay.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent is required.
• Genuine care for others is essential.
• Must be a good team player with strong communication.
• Proven experience in a care setting is preferred.

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Support Worker to work in an exceptional nursing home based in the Milford on Sea area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent

As the Support Worker your key duties include:

• Be an essential part of the team, promoting the well-being and providing the highest quality of care to residents
• Assist with daily tasks, inclusive of all personal care assistance from supporting with personal hygiene, through to days out and companionship
• Encourage independence, well-being and supporting vulnerable individuals with their daily routines and activities
• Ensure accurate record keeping at all times

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Have a genuine desire to care for others
• A good team player
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Proven experience of working in a care setting

The successful Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £12.80 - £13.45 per hour - Pay frequency is monthly.
