Job summary

Voyage-Care in Midsomer Norton is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to assist residents in daily living and promote independence. You will work shifts across long days, early, late, and wake nights, with on-site vehicles requiring a full UK driving licence and being over 21.

Job description

Support Worker – Midsomer Norton

Pay Rate starts at: £14.10 PER HOUR

Typical Shifts are:

• Long Days – 07:00am – 19:00pm or 08:00am – 20:00pm
• Early Shift – 08:00am – 14:00pm
• Late Shift – 14:00pm – 20:00pm
• Wake Nights – 20:00pm – 08:00am

This position requires you to held for 1 year a Full UK Manual Driving licence and be over the age of 21 due to insurance policy to drive our on site vehicles.

Our supported living service in Midsomer Norton is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support visiting the zoo or swimming in the local community pool, the next you could be unwinding with them teaching them to cook, watching films or going to the cinema.
