Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Solihull is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our supported living service. You will help adults to lead fulfilling, independent lives by providing person-centered care in clients’ own homes, including activities such as shopping, cooking, personal care, and medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Support vulnerable adults in their own homes with shopping, cooking, personal care and medication administration.
• Maintain care plans and risk assessments; ensure accurate record keeping and effective communication within the team.
• Deliver services in line with standards set by the Registered Manager and provider; participate in necessary training.

We are looking for a Support Worker to join our supported living service in Solihull, West Midlands.

Brief Job Description:

The Support Worker will support vulnerable adults in their own homes providing support to individuals in a person centered way which includes various activities i.e. shopping, cooking, assisting with personal care and administering medication.

You will need to maintain care, support and management skills as detailed within the individual care plans and risk assessments. Record keeping and communication skills are essential to ensure effective teamwork to meet people’s needs. You will be required to undertake such training and development as necessary from time-to-time be develop your career.

Ideally you will have previous experience working within a residential care or supported living setting with vulnerable people and hold NVQ Level 2 in care or an equivalent qualification. However, applications from candidates with no experience who can demonstrate the caring qualities and values that we seek in our staff are welcome.
