Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to help adults at home. You will provide care in a person-centred way, assisting with daily tasks such as shopping, cooking, personal care and monitoring medication.

Experience in residential care is preferred, but applications from caring individuals with no formal experience are welcome. You will follow individual care plans, maintain records and communicate with the team to ensure the best possible outcomes for

Responsibilities

Brief Job Description:

The Support Worker will support vulnerable adults in their own homes providing support to individuals in a person centred way which includes various activities i.e. shopping, cooking, assisting with personal care and administering medication.

You will need to maintain care, support skills as detailed within the individual care plans and risk assessments. Record keeping and communication skills are essential to ensure effective teamwork to meet people’s needs. You will be required to undertake such training and development as necessary from time-to-time be develop your career.

Ideally you will have previous experience working within a residential care or supported living setting with vulnerable people and hold NVQ Level 2 in care or an equivalent qualification. However, applications from candidates with no experience who can demonstrate the caring qualities and values that we seek in our staff are welcome.
