Job summary

Cygnet Appletree in the North East of England is seeking a confident Support Worker to help improve and turn lives around for women in a dedicated mental health hospital. You will work 42 hours weekly across day and night shifts, supporting individuals with physical and emotional care, under supervision.

Starting pay is £13.15 per hour with progression post probation and after 18 months. A full-time role with excellent training and discounts is offered within a national network of specialist

Cygnet Appletree, near Durham, is a mental health hospital for women that includes Pippin Ward, a specialist PICU service and Bramley Ward, an intensive support service for women with a personality disorder and complex mental health needs.

Our person-centred service has been designed with wellness in mind, providing a safe and comfortable environment that promotes efficient rehabilitation and recovery. We are dedicated to understand, stabilise and break the traumatic cycles of relapse that can impact service users' lives.

Your day-to-day

Support both management and team members in the day-to-day running of the service
Ensure duties are allocated effectively and safely
