Job summary

Voyage-Care’s Pennington Court in Maltby is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to help residents gain independence and live fuller lives. You’ll work in a small team, supporting personal care and facilitating community access, with a focus on individuals with acquired brain injuries.

The role operates on a 35-hour contract with shifts across various times, including evenings and weekends. A full UK driving licence is essential and the position requires resilience and a caring approach.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence, essential.
• Care experience, preferably in ABI or challenging settings.
• Resilient, flexible and composed in approach.
• Male candidate is required (essential).

Responsibilities

• Help residents gain independence in daily living and participate in activities.
• Work within a dynamic team to support individuals in our ABI service.
• Assist with personal care and enabling access to local communities.
• Encourage social engagement, outings, and recreational activities.

Our ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) service, Pennington Court in Maltby is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You'll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local restaurants or attending appointments, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.

We're interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values.
