Job summary

Voyage Care is hiring a Female Support Worker for our Birdwood service in the Forest of Dean. The role supports residents in daily living, encouraging independence and community participation, with a mix of early, daytime, and evening shifts including sleep-ins.

The successful candidate will have a full UK driving licence (age 21+ for insurance) and a caring, adaptable approach to help people reach their goals in a welcoming team environment.

Female Support Worker

Location: Birdwood- starts at £12.34ph Sleepin rate £73.89pn

This position requires you to held for 1 year a Full UK Manual Driving licence and be over the age of 21 due to insurance policy to drive our on site vehicles.

Typical Shifts are mixture of: 7am- 14:30 - 14:30 - 7- 17:00 12:00 - 22:00 - 22:00, sleep in's 10pm-7am On rolling 2 week rota

Our supported living service in Birdwood in the Forest of Dean is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! you'll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local community hotspots, the next you could be unwinding with them doing indoor activities, watching films or going to the cinema.
