Active Care Group's Care in the Home division continues to grow, providing safe, reliable, and outcome-based care through our exceptional support workers, clinicians, and management team.

We are recruiting experienced, motivated, and proactive Support Workers in the Tower Hamlets area of London to support a male client with a spinal cord injury at home. Responsibilities include personal care, medication management, and moving and handling.

We offer a sector-leading 2-week induction, including 5 days away from home, with travel and accommodation covered. Training involves face-to-face sessions with clinicians and online courses to ensure confidence in care delivery.

When You'll Be Working

• Day and Night Shifts available
• Weekdays and Weekends
• 8am - 8pm / 8pm - 8am
• Full-time or Part-time, with 12-hour shifts required

Responsibilities

• Support the client to exercise choice and control within their cognitive abilities
• Coordinate with and support the client's family
• Assist with hygiene and community activities
• Follow the care plan and maintain confidentiality
• Participate in manual handling procedures
• Maintain professional boundaries as directed

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in person-centred care
• Experience with spinal injuries is desirable but not essential; training provided
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to learn and develop
• Enhanced DBS clearance required
