We are currently recruiting compassionate and reliable Support Workers to work across our clients’ day care centres in East London, supporting adults with learning difficulties in a safe, engaging, and structured environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates passionate about person-centred care, inclusion, and empowerment.

As an Agency Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling service users to engage in a wide range of activities, develop life skills, and maintain their dignity and independence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide person-centred support to adults with learning difficulties in a day care setting
• Assist with structured activities, social inclusion, and engagement programmes
• Promote independence, confidence, and emotional well-being
• Support with personal care tasks, where required
• Follow care plans, safeguarding protocols, and health and safety procedures
• Work collaboratively with the staff team, families, and external professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely records of care and progress

Requirements:

• Right to work in the UK
• Previous UK experience working with adults with learning difficulties or within a care environment
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
• Mandatory training (including safeguarding, manual handling, infection control – we can assist with updates)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude
• Flexibility to work various shifts (typically Monday–Friday, daytimes only)
