Our amazing specialist school in Uxbridge believes every child has the potential to succeed and they are committed to providing the necessary support to help them thrive. They are looking for an enthusiastic Emotional Support Worker to join their team ASAP.

This is an important role where you will be responsible for facilitating and providing tailored emotional support to students, helping them navigate their feelings, build resilience and develop coping strategies. As an Emotional Support Worker, you will work closely with teachers, parents and external professionals to create a supportive and safe environment for our students.

This is a great opportunity to be involved in a supportive team. You will also be making a real difference in the lives of children with social, emotional and mental health needs.

As an Emotional Support Worker, you will be involved in helping students identify and express their emotions in a healthy manner, provide individualised support to students, addressing their emotional, social, and educational needs and assist with classroom activities, ensuring students are engaged and participating.

In this role as an Emotional Support Worker, you will make a meaningful impact on students with social, emotional and mental health needs. You will also gain valuable information and insight into mental health issues and equip you to be an advocate for mental health awareness and interventions to support students.
