We are looking for a caring, reliable, and confident Female Bank Support Workers to join a small team supporting a 14-year-old girl with complex medical and developmental needs in her family home in Leigh. The young person has Sturge-Weber Syndrome, well-controlled epilepsy, significant developmental delay, is non-verbal, and has a visual impairment. She benefits from a calm, patient, and person-centred approach, with consistent routines and reassurance to help her feel safe and supported.
She requires support with all aspects of daily living, including the preparation of a modified diet due to a history of oesophageal atresia, alongside assistance with mobility due to left-sided weakness and physical health needs. At times, she may experience periods of distress and can display behaviours such as scratching or pulling, so a confident and positive approach to behaviour support is essential.
She enjoys spending time outdoors, going for walks, listening to music, participating in sensory activities, using her indoor swing, and relaxing in the hot tub.
Our CARE values are at the heart of everything we do:
At Acuity Care Group, CARE isn't just a set of values, it's the way we work every day.
