Voyage Care is seeking a genuine and caring Female Support Worker to join our team in Isleworth. You will support adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs to live fulfilling, independent lives both at home and in the community.

Daily tasks include personal care, medication support, promoting independence, and community activities. A full UK manual driving licence is essential; previous care experience is beneficial but not required.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence is required.
• Candidate should be resilient, flexible and adaptable.
• Candidate should have a positive, person-centred approach.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
• Experience supporting people with autism, mental health needs, behaviours of distress, forensic histories, or trauma-informed support.

About the Role

We're looking for a genuinely caring, hands‑on Female Support Worker to join our friendly team in Isleworth.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and complex support requirements to live fulfilling, independent lives. Every day is different, and you'll play a key role in helping the people we support achieve their goals, build confidence and enjoy meaningful experiences.

You'll be supporting individuals both at home and in the community, assisting with:

• Personal care and daily living tasks
• Medication support
• Promoting independence and life skills
• Community access and social activities
• Supporting hobbies, interests and holidays
• Maintaining accurate records and care documentation
• Following Positive Behaviour Support plans

One day you could be helping someone learn new skills at home, and the next you could be supporting them on a day out, enjoying activities in the local community, visiting the cinema, going for meals or attending social events.

What We're Looking For

We are particularly interested in candidates who:

• Hold a full UK manual driving licence
• Are resilient, flexible and adaptable
• Have a positive, person-centred approach
• Can remain calm and composed in challenging situations
• Have experience supporting people with:
  • Autism
  • Mental health needs
  • Behaviours of distress
  • Forensic histories
  • Trauma-informed support needs
• Have experience following Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans and reflective practice
