Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a dedicated Female Support Worker for a rural service in Birdwood, Forest of Dean. You will help people gain independence, support daily living, and encourage local community engagement.

Working 40 hours weekly with shifts 07:00-17:00, 12:00-22:00 and sleep-ins. You must have a driving licence and be able to drive manual company vehicles. Training and DBS checks are provided along with ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence required.
• Experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
• Ability to work with individuals who may have distress, mental health conditions or autism.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and daily routines.

Please note this is a rural location and own transport is required, you will also need to be able to drive our manual company vehicles.

Location: Birdwood, Forest of Dean, GL2 8BJ

Work 40 hours per week, shifts are a mixture of: 07:00-17:00 - 12:00-22:00 and Sleep-in's Monday to Sunday

We’re interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Support Workers should hold a full UK driving license, be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice as well as experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviour's of distress, mental health conditions and autism.
