Job summary

Dimensions Ltd in Hounslow is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join a supported living home for six adults aged 20–55, to help them live fulfilling, independent lives. The role is full-time with a shift pattern across mornings and evenings, and excellent transport links via the Piccadilly Line with nearby stations.

About the role

• Support Worker
• Full time (37.5 hours)
• Hounslow, London, TW3
• £14.80per hour.

You'll be joining a supported living home in Hounslow, providing support to six adults aged between 20 and 55 to live fulfilling, independent lives. Conveniently located with excellent transport links, the home is easily accessible via the Piccadilly Line, with Hounslow East, Hounslow Central and Hounslow West stations all nearby.

This is a rewarding, fast-paced role where every day brings something different. You'll be supporting people to enjoy the experiences that matter most to them, whether that's music therapy sessions, swimming, cinema trips, shopping, library visits, day excursions, or spending time with friends in their local town. The home has a positive atmosphere and you'll play an important role in helping people make the most of each day.

As a Support Worker, you'll provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs. This includes assisting people to get ready for the day, providing full personal care, and using equipment such as hoists and slings where required. You'll support two people who use wheelchairs, assist one lady with PEG feeding, and help prepare meals, including pureed diets. Alongside this, you'll contribute to maintaining a welcoming home environment through everyday household tasks such as cooking, cleaning and laundry.

Most importantly, you'll empower the people we support to build confidence, develop independence, try new experiences, and achieve their personal goals.

Shift patterns include: 7:00am to 2:30pm and2:00pm to 9:30pm. The role also includes working alternate weekends as part of the rota.
