Job summary

Transforming Support is hiring experienced Support Workers to help adults with learning disabilities and complex needs at Prinsted in Horley. You will build trusted relationships, support independence, and promote choice while following care plans.

The role is full-time with 12-hour day shifts (8:00–20:00), rolling two-week rota, and a discretionary bonus up to £1,000 per year plus 28 days annual leave.

Qualifications

• Six months’ previous experience in a care or support setting.
• Able to travel to Horley, RH6 7EP for shifts.
• Right to work in the UK for full contracted hours without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support everyday living skills, housekeeping and independence.
• Help manage tenancy and finances where required.
• Support health needs, appointments and medications per procedures.
• Encourage community involvement, relationships and interests.
• Contribute to support plans, reviews and risk management.
• Maintain accurate records and work with teams to ensure safe, consistent support.

Support Worker

Location: Surrey, RH6 7EP

Salary: £14.00 per hour, equivalent to £28,028 per annum

Contract: Full time, permanent & fixed term available

Hours: 38.5 paid hours per week

Shifts: 12-hour day shifts, 8.00am to 8.00pm

Working pattern: Rolling two-week rota

To be considered, you must:

• Have at least six months’ previous experience in a care or support setting.
• Be able to reliably travel to Horley, RH6 7EP, for the stated shift times.
• Communicate clearly and maintain accurate written support records.
• Already have the right to work in the UK for the full contracted hours without employer sponsorship.
