Job summary

Cygnet Group is seeking compassionate Support Workers for our Heanor site. You will help adults with care needs at Cygnet Elowen Hospital, with 42 hours per week across day and night shifts. Training is provided; no prior healthcare experience is required.

Pay starts at £13.15 per hour, rising to £13.45 after 3 months. You’ll be part of a dedicated team within a secure hospital setting, focusing on safety, dignity, and patient welfare.

Qualifications

• No previous healthcare experience required.
• Genuine desire to help others; training and support provided.
• Enhanced DBS check will be required.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care.
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
• Learn about individuals’ specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.

As a Support Worker, you'll build meaningful relationships, learn valuable healthcare skills, and play an important role in improving the lives of those in our care.
