Job summary

Agincare Havant is seeking a caring Support Worker to help people live happier, more independent lives at home and in the community. You will listen, build trust, encourage activities, and follow care plans to support daily living with dignity.

Qualifications

One day you could be supporting someone at home, the next enjoying a visit to the local pub, or even accompanying them on a holiday. Every activity is tailored to the individual’s interests, helping them live life to the fullest and achieve their personal goals.Your role is to listen, understand, and build a trusting relationship, supporting individuals to reconnect with the things they love, from beach walks to days out.

We’re looking for:

• A calm, patient and caring approach with the willingness to learn and build trust
• Previous experience in a care or support role preferred
• A team player who values consistency
• A Full UK driving licence
• At least 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK
• Excellent career development opportunities and fully funded training up to QCF Level 5
