# Support WorkerTruroCloses 25 November 2026Apply nowYou'll be taken to our application system to complete your application.## About this role**Make a real difference while supporting someone to live life to the fullest!**Are you a compassionate, patient and reliable Support Worker looking for a rewarding role where you can build a genuine connection with the person you support?At Active Assistance, we're looking for a Female Support Worker to join a friendly, dedicated team supporting a gentleman in Lanner who is living with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI).**Meet The Client:**You'll be supporting a friendly gentleman with a brilliant sense of humour who enjoys good company, music and making the most of each day.He's a big fan of music from the 60s, 70s and 80s, so there's often a great soundtrack playing throughout the day!He also enjoys getting involved in the kitchen, particularly when there's baking to be done, and loves heading out in his adapted van. Trips to the seafront are a firm favourite, especially when there's an ice cream involved!As a wheelchair user, he requires support with mobility and everyday activities. He also experiences some speech difficulties, so a patient approach, good listening skills and clear communication will help you build a positive and trusting relationship.Your role will be about much more than providing care.
