Job summary

Hightown is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join Old Barn, a small care home in Gawcott, Buckingham. The role offers genuine, person-centred support to four adults with learning disabilities, helping them feel respected and empowered to develop independence.

You will work part-time, across shifts, with training provided and a focus on safety, health and wellbeing. A care certificate is preferred, and a full UK driving license is required.

Position: Support Worker

Salary: £16,110 per annum

Hours: Part-time (22.5 hours per week)

This is an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team at Old Barn, a registered care home for four adults with learning disabilities, autism and physical disabilities.

As a Support Worker, you will provide compassionate, person-centred support, helping people feel respected, included and empowered to develop independence and achieve their personal goals. You will work closely with colleagues, families and professionals, valuing collaboration to create a safe and positive home environment.

About you

Holds a care certificate or willingness to undertake a care qualification

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.
