Job summary

Rotherham Doncaster & South Humber NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a permanent, full-time care role. Shifts cover nights, days and weekends across a 7-day service, with a rotational pattern.

The position is based at The Redbourne Centre, offering person-centred care to adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. We provide comprehensive training, DBS checks, and opportunities for progression, including access to qualifications up to degree level.

Qualifications

Experience in a care setting is not essential.
Experience working with young people and/or adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health problems

Responsibilities

Assist the senior team with assessment of individual tenant needs, planning, delivery and evaluation of care for a number of individuals or groups, including following the clinical risk assessment plan.
To exercise a reasonable and agreed degree of professional autonomy and make judgements and decisions in order to satisfy the expectations and demands of the job.
To undertake clinical work related tasks as delegated by senior staff, following appropriate training and assessment of competency.
To undertake clinical supervision to further develop competence and clinical practice.
To liaise effectively with all stakeholders in the care process, including carers and relatives, aspiring to provide an effective, seamless and integrated service to tenants.

Job description

Permanent| Full time| up to 37.5 hours per week. The post will be rotational across a 7-day service, working nights, days and weekends.

Rate: £12.81 per hour

About the Service - The Redbourne Centre

is a specialist care home with nursing. We provide a supportive, therapeutic and homely environment for men aged 18+ with mild to moderate intellectual disability, mental health disorders, and complex needs. We provide individuals with practical, physical and emotional support enabling them to achieve as much independence and choice as possible whilst promoting social inclusion.

The Role:

We are looking for candidates that have a real passion to support others along with delivering the highest standards of care. The ideal candidates will adopt a professional approach to our tenants care at all times whilst establishing relationships with tenants and their carers.
To assist the senior team with the assessment of individual tenant needs, planning, delivery and evaluation of care for a number of individuals or groups of tenants / tenants, including following the clinical risk assessment plan.
