Cartrefi Cymru Co-operative is seeking a Support Worker in Fairbourne, Gwynedd. The role includes part-time or full-time hours, with weekends and sleep-ins; permanent contract.
You will help individuals make choices, support daily living, and encourage participation in community activities while building trusted relationships in a close-knit village. No prior experience is required as full training is provided.

£13.59per hour and our sleep-in shifts at £60 per night and our travel expenses is paid 55p per mile

As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference to someone's life - supporting them to make their own choices, achieve their goals and enjoy everyday life to the fullest.From choosing what to wear, what to eat or how to spend their day, to bigger decisions such as managing their finances, deciding where to live or planning a holiday, you'll be there to provide encouragement, support and reassurance while helping people live life on their own terms.
You'll also support individuals to get involved in activities that build confidence, learn new skills and discover new interests. This could be anything from helping around the home and paying bills, to getting out into the local community, keeping in touch with friends and family, or simply enjoying a cup of tea and a good chat.
Living and working in a close-knit village community, you'll have the chance to build genuine relationships and become someone people know and trust.
