Job description

Join Our Team as a Support Worker

Location:Exeter & Exmouth, Devon
Salary:£12.30 per hour (£23,985 per annum) plus benefits.
Hours:37.5 hours per week, (Monday to Sunday, shifts 7am-2pm/2pm-10pm). Must have weekend availability
Contract:Full-time, permanent.
Driving Requirement:A valid full UK manual driving license is essential.
Right to Work:Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. We are unable to sponsor visas.

What will you be doing?

As a Support Worker, you'll empower individuals to live their fullest lives. Your responsibilities include providing daily care such as assisting with personal care, preparing meals, managing medications, and other daily tasks.

You will build strong relationships by understanding the needs of those you support, helping them live independently, and encouraging social engagement through activities like holidays, social events, and hobbies. Respect, dignity, and equality are at the core of your support.

Who will you be supporting?

In Exeter, we have eight self-contained flats with bedrooms, lounges, kitchens, and bathrooms, plus communal areas like a lounge, conservatory, and garden.

Exeter Support Service supports adults with learning and other disabilities, many with sight loss. We also provide tailored support for people living with sight loss and disabilities across Devon, based on thorough assessments of individual needs and aspirations.
