Job description

We are pleased to announce we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Support Worker.

Westward is a residential service located in Dawlish, Devon, for 7 individuals with learning disabilities with associated mental health needs and behaviours that challenge. Our service provides both long and short-term residential care.

What we’ll give you:

  • £12.31 per hour.
  • Full time 36 hours per week. Shift times are between the hours of 8 am and 8 pm. Weekend and bank holiday working is required. Part time hours (min of 20 hours per week) can be considered.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Taking part and supporting with activities.
  • Administering medication.
  • The role will involve assisting with personal care, domestic support, preparing meals, updating our internal systems, reviewing care plans, risk assessments, and monthly reports.
  • Shift times are between the hours of 8 am and 8 pm. Weekend and Bank holiday working is required.
  • Sleep ins and Waking Nights may be required at times.
