Job summary

Thera Trust is seeking a part-time Support Worker in the UK to assist adults with learning disabilities. The role offers 20 hours weekly with salary at £13.30 per hour. Training is provided; a full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.

You will help individuals achieve personal goals, offer emotional and practical support, and work within an inclusive team dedicated to person-centered care.

Qualifications

• No previous experience or qualifications required.
• Free, Skills for Care endorsed full training will be provided.
• Compassionate, caring, confident and resilient.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter, with a high level of motivation.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with a learning disability in daily living.
• Help develop new skills, provide personal and emotional support, and assist with planning and managing home life.
• Support with leisure, employment, independent activities and travel in community settings.

Hours: part time 20 hoursMondays 07.30-15.00 and Sundays 08.30-21.00
