Job summary

M&MP Housing Ltd provides high‑quality supported accommodation for looked after children aged 16–17. As a Support Worker, you will help these young people develop independence, promote safety and wellbeing, and provide emotional and practical support.

The role requires consistency, compassion, resilience, and a genuine commitment to safeguarding young people. DBS checks are mandatory as part of safer recruitment.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting young people or vulnerable individuals.
  • Strong safeguarding awareness.
  • Ability to build positive, professional relationships.
  • Good communication and recording skills.
  • Willingness to work shifts.
  • Enhanced DBS (children’s workforce) – or willingness to obtain one.
  • Experience working with looked after children.
  • Knowledge of Supported Accommodation Regulations (2023).

Responsibilities
