JOB ROLE: Senior Support Worker

LOCATION: Paignton, Devon TQ4

SALARY: £13.60 - £14.20 per hour

HOURS: 35 hours per week

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Support Worker to join our brand-new supported living service in Paignton.

We believe in the potential of each person we support, and we enable them to work towards their goals, live more independently, and take control of their lives. We listen and understand what each person would like to achieve in life. We then work closely with them, their family, circle of support, and other professionals to define goals and how we can work together to achieve them.

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service, including:

  • Managing a team of Support Workers
  • Providing high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans
  • Encouraging good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
  • Accurately reporting, recording, and maintaining records as required and working to care plans
  • Liaising with health professionals and their families
  • Completing supervisions and audits
  • Ensuring all duties undertaken by reporting staff meet required standards and contribute positively to a happy, efficient, and homely atmosphere within the home
