Job summary

CareTech Community Services seeks a Residential Childcare Worker in Fife, with a 2 on 4 off pattern, including overnight sleep-ins. The role combines daily care routines, school preparation and activity planning in a warm, homely setting.

You will build trust with young people, document care, and participate in ongoing training. Sleep-in allowances are included, with a strong benefits package and career development opportunities.

Job description

Role: Residential Childcare Worker

Location: Fife with a 2 on 4 off shift pattern, which includes overnight sleep-ins at the service.

Pay: £34,327 to £36,375 per year (includes base salary + sleep-in allowances)

Base Salary: £26,227 (Unqualified) to £28,275 (Qualified), plus £67.50 per sleep-in. Based on approximately 10 sleep-ins per month, you will top up your earnings by £8,100 annually.

12 month advance rolling rota

A full UK Manual driving licence is required and we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role.

Where You’ll Do It

Springfield House is made up of 2 homes with a 'whole approach' which are registered to support 9 young people. We focus on activities that promote the health and wellbeing of our young people, guiding them through the next stages in their life and being a safe space for them to express themselves.
