Job summary

Quarriers North Lanarkshire Supported Living are recruiting Support Workers to help people with additional support needs thrive living independently, joining activities and hobbies in the local community and beyond. Day services run from 9am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work.

24-hour services involve 1:1 support in homes, including day, back shifts and sleepovers. Roles can be part-time or full-time across Kilsyth, Cumbernauld, Stepps and Chryston.

Qualifications

• Compassion and kindness to support people in their day to day lives.
• Enthusiasm and self-motivation.
• Ability to apply transferable life experience and skills to support and enable individuals.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Right to work in the UK or be able to secure this independently.

Responsibilities

• Support people with additional support needs to live independently and take part in activities and hobbies in the local community and beyond.
• Assist in Day Services operating 9:00–16:30, Monday–Friday with occasional weekend work.
• Provide 1:1 support in 24-hour services in people’s homes, including day shifts, back shifts and sleepovers.

Your new opportunity

Quarriers are recruiting Support Workers who will support people with additional support needs thrive living independently while enjoying activities and hobbies in the local community and beyond. Our services are located across Kilsyth, Cumbernauld, Stepps and Chryston.

Our Day Services operate between 9am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday with occasional weekend work to meet the needs of the people we support.

Our 24 hour services support people in their own homes on a 1:1 basis, this includes workingdayshifts, backshifts and sleepovers.

Both services have part-time and full-time opportunities available.
